Sometimes you just can't meet with a tutor. Perhaps there are no qualified tutors in your vicinity. Maybe you aren't comfortable with someone coming into your home. There are any number of reasons why tutoring in home might not work for you. That is why we now offer online tutoring options.

Our online tutoring works the same way as in home tutoring. The only difference is, your child works on the computer with a tutor who is not in the same place. Instant messenger programs function as the main point of contact. With an instant messenger, your child and the tutor can communicate in real time. They can also send simple graphics files for diagrams and tables as needed. We can recommend which IM program to obtain if you would like. We may also be able to provide a CD free of charge with a useful IM program for you.

We offer most of our services online. Subject tutoring, Test Preparation, Job search and Resume review, even computer tutoring can all be done on your computer. Our online instructors have the same backgrounds and qualifications as our in person tutors. In fact, they are often the same people.

Rates for online tutoring are lower than for the similar in person service. This is simply because most people can talk faster than they can type, so each hour of online tutoring generally results in less work than in person. Despite this, online tutoring can be just as effective as in person tutoring. For some students it can be the only viable option. For others, it can be preferable to in person meetings. What ever your reasons, we are happy to accomodate you.

We also accept online enrollments for Test Preparation at our Online Enrollment Form. We can only accept online enrollment for our test preparation services. The tests are all standardized, so no matter where you are, they are the same. Other tutoring services must be more personalized, so we need to ask a number of questions before we can begin.
